The statue of the "Virgin of Fire" is not insignificant in this church, which has been burned twice. It was destroyed by fire in 1401 and rebuilt in 1421. A century later, in 1501, it is the tower which is the prey of the flames: the lightning strikes the city causing a vast fire. Listed as a Historic Monument, this Gothic style church dates from the 15th century and has undergone numerous restoration works to preserve it.
