The Church of St. Bartholomew in Lening, which had suffered greatly during the Thirty Years' War, seems to have been completely rebuilt in the 18th century. The work was completed in 1747. The church houses beautiful 18th century furniture, which was included in the list of historical monuments in 1993. The primitive spire bell tower was replaced at the beginning of the 20th century by a picturesque bulbous bell tower.
