The Kerlinquin Stone is an enormous monolithic block of red sandstone, almost 5 meters high, 8 meters long and about 1.5 meters wide. It seems to have been torn from a sandstone cliff by the glacier which covered the heights and which transported it several hundred meters away. Place of gathering for ritual practices which had still course in the modern period. Its weight has been estimated at about 132 tons. Classified as a historical monument in 1886.
