A jewel of modern art from the 20th century, the Saint-Remy Church in Baccarat was built between 1953 and 1957 by the architect Nicolas Kazis, assisted by Mr Laquenaire, a local architect. Built on the ruins of the former church, destroyed in October 1944 by an allied bombing, Saint-Remy is entirely placed under the sign of the triangle, symbol of the Holy Trinity Once past the porch, the interior will amaze you even more... The luminous decoration of the "testimony group" in Baccarat slabs is composed of 20,000 pieces of Baccarat crystal set in concrete. The ensemble, unique in the world, is available in more than 150 different shades. The general theme is "Life and Light".
