Don't hesitate to enter the Baccarat City Hall to admire the monumental chandeliers that adorn the large halls and the numerous temporary exhibitions that follow one another every year. Built by the architect Deville in 1924 on the site of the Michaut castle (destroyed during the city fire in August 1914, as were the 104 houses in the neighboring districts). This building was inspired by the Flemish common houses and the Loire castles. On the facade, medallions carved in stone represent the various crystal trades At the back of the building is a beautiful park of 10 hectares on the banks of the Meurthe River. Rose garden, games for children, arboretum, attract all year long visitors from all over the world. Folklore and musical events are organized under the kiosk on Sundays in summer.
