MUSÉE MÉMOIRES DU TEXTILE

At the foot of the Vosges mountains, in a green setting, the "Mémoires du Textile" museum is located in the old textile factory (1850-1978), which keeps track of the memory and know-how of thousands of employees. The machines come to life before the visitor's eyes to explain all the stages of manufacture from the cotton bale to the final fabric. Calicotier, cotton spinner, weaver, warper... so many trades and gestures disappeared to rediscover Open Thursdays and Sundays from 2 to 5 pm, from May to October.
