The historical cross was erected by Dom Claude de Villiers, Abbot of Saint-Mihiel in 1611. This monument, 2.62 metres high, rises on a circular step and consists of a base and a cross crowned by a capital. On the side looking towards the church of Insming is attached the exhaling Christ, crowned with thorns, with his head bent to the right.
