Nature lovers, the Domaine de Lindre is a jewel that will dazzle you! This natural space of about 1 000 hectares (including more than 830 ha of water surface) is composed of 12 fish ponds, reed beds, forests and wet meadows. A site of passion which has only one real objective: to preserve biodiversity for the greatest pleasure of all the curious. You will be able to observe numerous species, go for a walk, make discoveries, have a picnic, take part in activities and of course enjoy reconnecting with your environment. So, are you ready for a haven of peace to live alone, with family or friends? The site of the pond of Lindre, recognized as a Natura 2000 zone, RAMSAR site and Biosphere reserve, shelters a very large diversity of species which will be able to find quietude and abundance of food there. A place of passage for migratory birds, it is an ornithological site of international interest. 241 species of birds, half of which are nesting, are counted there each year The Domaine de Lindre has 3 paths as well as 2 ornithological observatories allowing to observe birds in their natural environment It also offers animations all year long: educational receptions for schoolchildren, nature outings, guided tours on reservation for groups, training modules for professionals and students.
