CIRCUIT DES MOULINS

This easy loop connects two old mills in the pleasant valley of the Waschbach covered with orchards. To make your walk easier, the circuits are equipped with starting signs and crossroads markings. Marking: yellow rectangle. The circuit of the Mills, the shortest of the proposed trails, owes its name to the old mills that hikers can encounter during the 6.1 km of trails. Linking two villages, Etzling and Kerbach, the footpath proposes, between forest and fields, to also observe the old wash houses of Kerbach visible along the stream. Did you know that? Part of the French army passed through Kerbach during the 1870 war. Some French soldiers were seriously wounded on the battlefield and at the Moulin Neuf, you can still see bullet marks.
