CIRCUIT VTT N°9 (ROUGE) CREUSEGOUTTE - CROIX CLAUDÉ

Departure from Domaine Nordique des Bas-Rupts. The start of this route is identical to circuit N°8. After crossing the Bas-Rupts road, you'll discover the wild Creusegoutte site and its pretty waterfall, accessible only on foot or mountain bike. Then it gets tough! You'll make a fairly hard climb across the Grosse Pierre road, then a fairly technical path climbs back up to the Poussière forest road, where you can say "phew, the hardest part's over!" This path takes you to the Croix Claudé (open forest chalet), then to Hautes Vannes via the cross-country ski trails and final descent to Bas-Rupts. 14 km circuit, 320 m ascent. Anti-clockwise direction. Follow beacons marked N°9 on a red background.
