FORÊT DU GROSSWALD

A forest that shelters a treasure In Sarreinsming, the forests cover a fairly large area: 266 ha, or 38% of the communal area. Hardwoods cover all the upper parts of the municipality, mainly oak and beech. On the left bank of the Saar, the forest is still very present. All the woods of the communal area are classified woodland and most of them belong to the municipality. Some forest paths are marked out by the Club Vosgien. Walking in the Grosswald Forest you will discover Gallo-Roman remains.
