Located on the former route of the Marne-Rhine canal, built under Napoleon III, this old port was used as a loading place for the Vosges pink sandstone stones from the 7 neighboring quarries. Left to the abandonment during decades, it finds today a welcoming allure for the walks and other leisures, of which fishing. Opening period: from January 1st to December 31st for all fisheries, except for pike and zander fishing which is forbidden from the last Monday of January to the last Friday of May of the current year. The fishermen must be holders of a fishing card issued by the AAPPMA of DABO. Article R436-13 of the Environment Code stipulates that fishing cannot be carried out more than half an hour before sunrise, nor more than half an hour after sunset.
