The Garden for Peace and its genesis gave rise to a veritable festival of flowers. Over the course of the seasons, the land holding of the Garden for Peace has proved too small for so much expression, so that the whole city has become a pretext for a creativity that has become limitless Our designer gardeners are never short of inspiration, but do not hesitate to barter and combine their talents. The Garden for Peace thus becomes the privileged setting for generous exchanges, whether technical, artistic or cultural. This adventure of creativity and sharing has given rise to the concept of barter gardens. This festival of ephemeral gardens has moreover largely exceeded the limits of the Garden for Peace to conquer the town centre of Bitche. Every year since 2006, a new selection of imaginative works, flowering experiments and improbable combinations of plants has been added to the ever-growing itinerary Starting from the town hall and leading to the Jardin pour la Paix, a walking trail leads you to discover the gardens in barter. Each of the gardens reveals a unique design, expresses a conviction or simply offers the originality of a real plant painting.
