Alternation of paths and various landscapes for this circuit which goes on both sides of the Rosselle river then crosses the ancient site of Hérapel. To make your walk easier, the circuits are equipped with departure signs and crossroads markers. The markings: yellow rectangle. For 9.6 km, the hiking trail, which crosses three municipalities, Morsbach, Rosbruck and Cocheren, surrounds the valley of the Rosselle. All along this forest-lined trail, which runs along the Rosselle River, you can discover the Hérapel hill and the Sainte Hélène chapel and thus admire a wonderful panorama of the Forbach region. Did you know that? According to some authors, a cult of the water source of the Sainte Hélène chapel existed in Roman times. The spring was said to have curative properties for the eyes and for baldness.
