A masterpiece of modern architecture, the Espace Niemeyer - Paris is the historic headquarters of the French Communist Party. Designed voluntarily by the communist and Brazilian architect and activist Oscar Niemeyer between 1969 and 1980, it has been listed as a historical monument since 2007. The Espace Niemeyer - Paris impresses with its curves and futuristic style and is used as a backdrop for many film shoots and cultural events. Its two large glass facades, its semi-buried exterior dome and its large auditorium are among its curiosities.
