Of the nine locks along the Saint-Martin canal, the Récollets lock is one of the most picturesque. Walkers can discover it during a stroll along the canal or during a cruise, between the Grange aux Belles footbridge and the Bichat footbridge. Near the Récollets lock, you can see the façade of the Hôtel du Nord, made famous by Marcel Carné's film of the same name, in which the actress Arletty was revealed.
