The Grosbois estate covers more than 400 hectares, about 15 kilometers from the capital and the Vincennes racecourse. Built at the beginning of the 17th century for the Superintendent of Finances and Buildings of King Henri IV, Nicolas de Harlay, the castle of Grosbois has been transformed by its successive owners. It was classified as a historical monument in 1993. The Grosbois estate is also a reference in horse racing as it houses one of the largest training centers in the world for trotting horses. The Grosbois estate also has a museum dedicated to this discipline (the largest in Europe).
