The church was built between the 12th and 15th centuries. Although mentioned in a document of 1277, relating to the parish of Saint-Benoît-du-Sault, the church seems to date from the previous century.
In the 16th century, two side chapels were added, in which a fragment of the stained glass windows from that period can be found today. One of them houses the funerary marble of the Pot family. The building was registered as a historical monument on May 11, 1932.
