During her studies at ENSAAMA in Paris, Christine discovered ceramics and continued her training in the workshop of Raoul Favretto in Humbligny.
A great finesse of turning characterizes her utilitarian stoneware, richly enamelled by the play of superimpositions of orange engobe and ash enamels. Christine also creates raw sculptures, predominantly vertical; some present the daring balance of a dancing volume, elegant and sober; movement, cutting of space. The research of forms, turned or shaped, is one of her main interests. After many years of firing in her 1300° gas kiln, Christine is now firing with wood at other potters.
