The Maison Rurale de l'Outre-Forêt pays tribute to Albert Schweitzer. This illustrious Alsatian, known far and wide as a doctor, theologian, pastor, philosopher and musician, experienced a painful episode in his life: he and his wife were imprisoned during the Great War as foreign nationals.
