Champagne Thiercelin

Champagne Thiercelin has cultivated the difference from father to daughter for generations. Founded in 1893 by Louis Thiercelin, it is still managed by the family. Two sisters, Anne-Sophie and Bérangère, have chosen to perpetuate the family know-how while bringing their feminine touch to the house! In Moussy, in the heart of the southern slopes of Epernay, 5 minutes from the capital of Champagne, the estate covers 18 hectares. The vines have always been worked by the family, which proudly claims its status of independent winemaker. After the harvest, the harvested grapes are pressed on site, and the Thiercelin house takes particular care to stir its wine by hand in its cellars, faithful to these ancient methods that guarantee the value of a centuries-old champagne. Indissociable from the spirit of Champagne Thiercelin, this care taken in the vinification brings to the vintages all their singularity. The Brut Carte Noire Millésimé 2008 is a perfect example with its generosity and its toasted or roasted aromas which give relief to the tasting.
