What if craftsmanship was inspired by the slow fashion movement to renew itself? With Lisa Coinus, art craftsman, nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed.

Destined for a career as an agronomist, this young woman from Nancy has been passionate about fashion and clothing since her teenage years. Self-taught, she learned the basics of the trade from her mother and began selling her first creations at garage sales and designer shows. The idea of creating a line of clothing germinates in her, and she decides to make it her profession by creating the brand LoA Lis in 2009. Lisa quickly learns all the techniques that will allow her to create a unique style, inspired by the vintage spirit, both retro and modern: tailored jackets, dresses with vertiginous necklines, corsets, embroidered purse and decorated with feathers. She moved to Arles in 2013 Realizing that fashion is unfortunately one of the most polluting industries, she decided to push the creative process further: her creations will be made exclusively from recycled fabrics or diverted clothing For this young woman who founded the Arles festival Les Recyclabes, whose objective is to show the urgency of consuming better, less and differently, fashion rhymes above all with recovery. A piece of furniture fabric, brocade or silk becomes the gallon of a dress or the lapel ornament of a jacket. Mischievous and imaginative, with her, everything is an object of detour: a jute bag marked "Banque de France" is transformed into a sexy and offbeat blazer. Her modern fairy tale dresses flirt with the neo-gothic spirit but in the style of London's Camden Market, with humor and lightness Fripes, frocks, baroque, patchwork: her style is assertive and highlights the feminine curves as much as the history of 20th century fashion. Unique, atypical pieces, Lisa's creations are the antithesis of the conventional and standardized style of fast fashion. No wonder Lisa is the head of the Association des Métiers d'art d'Arles, which aims to federate and promote the work of creative craftsmen. Also at the helm of Fashion Fripe, an event that thumbs its nose at Parisian fashion week, Lisa militates for the spirit of vintage and recuperation while allowing the resuscitation of clothes destined for oblivion or destruction. Who said that fashion was futile? Under her hands, on the contrary, everything is made with conscience. Her clothing line is sold in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, at the comptoir des créateurs Hand Co as well as in her Arles workshop/boutique, rue de la Liberté.
