LE TEMPLE DU ROUVE

The temple of Rouve has been restored to house a place of memory dedicated to the Camisards. "THE FIRST CAMISARDS AND THE FREEDOM OF CONSCIENCE" In order to revive the memory of one of the main pages of the past of our region of the high Cevennes and to recall a page of the universal values of resistance to oppression in a humanistic and cultural concern, we invite you in our place of memory. A projection devoted to the war of the Camisards and an exhibition of documents (simulated fac) come to punctuate the visit.
