Like the embers that rekindle the fire in the morning, the trio bridges the gap between past and present, so that today's generations can learn about the lives of their parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. A parenthesis, a moment suspended in time to slow down the frenzy of our present lives. A moment of sharing and vocal soaring that touches us in its simplicity and authenticity.
The trio brings together 3 generations: Isabelle Bourguétou, an Occitan singer of Béarn origin, Christian Sépulcre, a singer from Rouergue and Mickael Courdesses, a singer from Quercy. All three long-standing singers. the trio's repertoire, drawn exclusively from this collection, is revisited in monody and polyphony, accompanied by traditional instruments such as the drum, string tambourine, percussion, Indian harmonium, shruti box, monochord and gnawas.
