DOMAINE CLAUDE VOSGIEN

OUR DOMAINE Located south of the first hills of Toul, at the crossroads of the Moselle valley and the Côtes de Meuse, the Domaine Claude Vosgien extends its vineyard over the villages of the Côtes de Toul. The vineyard is composed of Pinot Noir, Auxerrois and Gamay. Today, 10 hectares of vines are planted on limestone slopes with south-east exposure. OUR HISTORY The history of the estate began in Bulligny in 1640. Ten generations later, the descendants remain attached to the Toulois hillsides. Alexandre and Stéphane have perpetuated a tradition and have been at the origin of the renewal of the vineyard. Taking over an estate already well developed by their parents Claude and Renée. OUR PHILOSOPHY Organic farming, more than a marketing choice, was an obvious choice and imposed itself. It started with the end of systematic weeding in the mid 80's, the reduction of the doses of treatments at the beginning of the 2000's and it continued naturally towards organic farming.
