Château de Haroué is an elegant 18th-century masterpiece designed by Germain Boffrand. With its 365 windows, 52 fireplaces, 12 towers and turrets and 4 bridges, the architect wanted it to symbolize the passage of time. Numerous artists contributed their works to embellish the premises. These include Jean Lamour's railings and Barthélémy Guibal's statues. Visitors can also admire a Chinese salon decorated by Jean Pillement and pieces of furniture originally commissioned by Louis XVIII for the Château de Saint-Ouen. Finally, visitors can enjoy a French park and an English garden. Numerous guided tours between April 1 and November 3. Guided tour times are available on the château's website.
