SENTIER DES BORNES

The path of the milestones corresponds to an abornement of 1727 marking the boundary between the forest of the abbey of Marmoutier and the village of Hultehouse. 88 armorial milestones marked this boundary; today some have disappeared. On the original milestones, the "M" of Marmoutier with the abbot's crook is engraved on one side and the "H" of Hultehouse is engraved on the other side, as well as a milestone number.
