The appointment impossible to circumvent of all the amateurs, the morning of the Cocarde d?Or. Long of approximately 15 km, the long abrivado leaves around 10 am from the mas des Bernacles on the Palunlongue track between Gimeaux and Saliers to arrive around noon at the Arles bullring.
It is followed by a multitude of enthusiasts in horse-drawn carriages, on bicycles or even running for the bravest. After a Camargue journey, it crosses the city of Arles by taking the bridge of Trinquetaille, the street Gambetta, the boulevard of the Lices, the boulevard Emile Combes, the place Lamartine, the street of the cavalry Rue Augustin Tardieu, to arrive at the bullring. All along its course the spectators place themselves to savor this privileged moment of the Camargue tradition.
