Built between the 13th and 15th centuries, the church is Gothic in style and inspired by the Champagne region. Partly financed by the burghers of Toul, it symbolizes a certain autonomy from the bishop. Adjacent to the building, a superb flamboyant Gothic cloister was built in the early 16th century.
