Between the vineyards of Faugères and St-Chinian, the stage progresses along the hamlets from Cabrerolles to Roquebrun, parallel to the ancient Roman road linking Béziers to Cahors. From Aigues-Vives, green, natural and wild, to Laurenque, a typical reproduction of a Cevennes village perched at the bottom of a valley, the landscapes keep changing. Demanding climbs and technical descents follow one another to discover the massifs of Caroux and Espinouse.
