Circuit VTT n°123 / Besançon

At the gates of Besançon, the forest of Chailluz and its 1600 hectares welcome nature lovers through the forest, discover many sites, including a wildlife park where wild boars, deer and roe deer evolve in their natural environment. Along the trails, visit the the picturesque hamlet of Grandes Baraques, or the fort of the Dame Blanche. Perched at an altitude of 620 meters, it offers a beautiful panorama of the Ognon and Doubs valleys. This circuit of average difficulty will make you penetrate in beech-fir forests, alternating wide paths and narrow paths. Speed and rapidity will have to be reconciled with a certain agility and dexterity for the success of this circuit. Given the worrying health of certain trees on forest plots 84 ? 85 ? 88- 89 ? 96 ? 98 and 99, the sections of the mountain bike circuits n°121 and 122 running through these plots are closed to the public. Users are invited to use the detour routes that have been set up, identified by mountain bike linkage markers.
