Park in the salle des fêtes parking lot. (D/A) From the parking lot, take the dirt track (west side) bordered by compost bins and the boules pitch. At the intersection with the tarmac road, turn right and go straight on to Les Salvards. (1) In front of the entrance to the grounds of the Maison les Salvards (sign 1), where the painter lived and which is now a bed & breakfast, turn left onto the dirt track (part of the GR®3, signposted White and Red) which leads to Les Ligers, from where you have a view over the valleys (sign 2). (2) At the intersection with the asphalt road D2, turn right. Pass the former railway station (on your right), now a private residence (sign 3), and continue as far as Étang des Chênes. Take the road to the left in front of l'Étang des Chênes and cross the bridge. A little further on, turn right onto the gravel path. Follow the Maloise. At the private road on the left, turn slightly right along the Maloise to the Cannerie footbridge (signpost 4). (3) Cross the D2 and take the tarmac road opposite to Les Guimards. Once you've passed the Guimards pottery, go round it to the left, then take the first turning to the right, passing a crôt (signpost 5). (4) Continue, leaving the driveway leading to the pottery store. At an intersection, turn left. (5) Turn left again (signpost 6) and continue to Les Salvards. (1) Take the first road on the left after the park entrance, passing the farm buildings of the maison de maître (itself visible at the end of the driveway which passes through the farm buildings). At the intersection with the D514, turn left, then, after about 20 m, turn right and follow the asphalt road to Les Beauchats. (6) Turn left through the hamlet, skirting the pond (signpost 7), then left again on the same road. (7) Drive past Chapelle Saint-Marc (sign) to Bitry. (8)Once in Bitry, go around the church to the right (west façade with sign), then up to the road (D 114). Turn right to the start parking lot (D/A).
