The most important public commission of contemporary art of the last twenty years, "the Ch?ur de lumière" is a monumental ensemble composed of fifteen sculptures that are displayed in the gothic ch?ur of the Saint Jean-Baptiste church in Bourbourg. This masterpiece was created by the English artist Sir Anthony Caro, the father of modern contemporary sculpture, who was impressed by the history and physiognomy of the place from his first visit.
