LA NUIT DE LA MINE

As part of the "Nuit européennes des musées" (European Museum Night), Hautes-Mynes du Thillot and the "Myne et Rail" association are offering a new edition of the "Nuit de la Mine": a lively, spectacular night-time discovery of the former copper mines of Le Thillot in the Vosges. Come and stroll among the actors, musicians, craftsmen and costumed artists, bringing back to life for a few hours, by the light of fire and flames, the village of the copper miners of the Dukes of Lorraine. From 5 p.m. until the lights go out at midnight, the mining village will be brought back to its 17th-century glory. Craft demonstrations. the "Auberge des Mineurs" will once again be serving its traditional meal? Drinks and snacks all evening at the "Cabaret des Mines". Last welcome: 10:30pm. Free admission (Underground walk: 3?/adult and 2?/child ? from 5 years). Access only by free shuttle bus throughout the evening. Meet at the museum parking lot, 47 rue de la Gare.
