FESTIVAL VINS SUR VINGT

Following on from last year?s success, with almost 8,000 visitors over two evenings, the 9th edition of the Festival Vins sur Vingt promises to be another great one, full of surprises, exchanges, sharing, music and good vibes. The evening of Friday May 24, behind the Town Hall in an intimate setting, will be dedicated to "covers" with Les Little Big 6ster, The door's spirit and Les Petits riens. On Saturday, May 25, the Festival proudly opens with family time and free children?s entertainment from 5pm, including the Coucoucool children?s rock concert. Then, gradually, the music will take over the town?s slate-walled streets. Vins sur Vingt is also about discovering our winegrowing heritage, with wine bars offering the Vins sur Vingt menu featuring the main appellations of the region (Anjou Blanc, Anjou Rouge, Cabernet Rosé, Coteaux de l?Aubance, Crémant, and of course the Anjou Brissac typical of our commune). The Festival continues to grow from year to year, and after nearly ten years (the association was founded in November 2013), we are proud to maintain this Festival, which is still free of charge, enabling culture to be enjoyed by all, in all places, offering a time for sharing and humanity in these times that often seem so difficult. Because today, the Festival Vins sur Vingt has also become a large family, made up of nearly 250 volunteers, 110 partners and all the visitors we are delighted to welcome once again to welcome back to Saint-Jean-des-Mauvrets in Les Garennes-sur-Loire.
