At 4pm: meeting in front of the auditorium, Cajarc music school, where the botanist Emilien Henry will take you for a botanical walk and will present you the wild plants of the area. (Reservation required: tel 06 82 88 14 53) At 18h: Screening of the film Le Chêne - une odyssée dans l'espace nature. At 7:30 pm: Exchange with Emilien around the theme of the wild flora of the region. During this time (7:30 pm), a children's workshop will be animated by Julie to draw and make a Mr. Grass. Cakes and drinks will be offered on site throughout the evening? of course! Emilien Henry is a botanist living in Faycelles who has worked for 12 years within the network of the National Botanical Conservatories. His activity consists in particular in inventorying the flora and the vegetations in Occitania in order to improve the knowledge on their distributions. He proposes this walk to discover the species that we come across every day without always knowing it. The plants of the wastelands and gardens are the companions of humanity. We rub shoulders with the species we consume and use the most, but also those we would like to avoid in many ways. Being able to name them and to know their ecological characteristics is the first step towards a better understanding of them. We will also see what adaptations they have made to thrive at our feet.
