This tour from Sillegny is an invitation to explore the surroundings of this charming village on the banks of the Seille, famous for its church, dubbed "the sixtin of the Seille". A veritable treasure trove, its tempera murals date back to the 15th and 16th centuries. Long hidden by whitewash, they were discovered on May 8, 1845 by Abbé Schnabel, parish priest from 1840 to 1891, and restored by painter Charles-André Malardot.
