Mickaël, a well-known woodworker in the region, embarked on an exciting project in 2022: he bought the commune's old school, which he had attended himself, to renovate and transform it into gîtes.
The buildings were no longer home to schoolchildren, but everywhere there were vestiges of a bygone era: rows of coat racks, small desks, blackboards, geography maps... like so many winks that can be found in today's decor. There are now 4 gîtes that can accommodate up to 26 people in all. Ideal for family get-togethers or groups of friends, the 4 lodgings are independent of each other, renovated and decorated with care, and equipped with all the comforts you need for a great vacation. Each has its own private terrace with barbecue and garden furniture. A common area has been preserved and landscaped: the playground! In this enclosed space, children can play in complete safety and everyone can enjoy the swimming pool. And if there are lots of you, the adjoining summer kitchen will be perfect for communal outdoor meals. Valérie and Mickaël will be delighted to advise you on how to discover all the region has to offer. Starting with the "Vignobles et Patrimoine du Haut-Layon" wine route, and the local winegrowers. Trémont is a wine-growing commune, and many estates welcome you for tastings. Extend your visit and you'll be spoilt for choice: the Bioparc and troglodytes of Doué-la-Fontaine are a 15-minute drive away, the Parc Oriental in Maulévrier is 30 minutes away, as are Terra Botanica and the Puy du Fou... Le Logis de Laura can accommodate up to 8 people: 1 bedroom with a double bed, 2 bedrooms with two single beds, 1 sofa bed for two people. Also discover Logis d'Anaïs, Logis de Lucie and Logis de Kelly. Additional services include linen hire, baby equipment (high chair, cot, changing mat, baby bath) and housekeeping.
