Concert à l'abbatiale: Trio Eklektik, "Du baroque aux musiques du monde"

The Trio Eklektik, made up of pianist Kira Maidenberg-Todorova, violinist Nathalie Chabot and violist Michel Michalakakos, was founded in February 2022. When war broke out in Ukraine, Kira Maidenberg-Todorova fled Odessa with her parents and seven-year-old daughter to France. From the very first meeting between Kira, Nathalie and Michel, there was an instant desire to play together. A bond of friendship was quickly forged, and a rich affinity was born thanks to the complementary sensibilities and talents of these three artists. This friendly and musical encounter has already led to several concerts in Paris and the Paris region, as well as in Oslo, Norway. Their repertoire ranges from Baroque to contemporary music, not forgetting the great classics such as Mozart and Schubert. In a festive spirit, they are delighted to add jazz, tango, South American and Klezmer music to their programs.
