Even if it's not the Vosges mountains, the Alsace Wine Route starts with a bit of a climb to discover a mountain village and some pretty nooks and crannies carefully preserved by the locals.
Still at the foot of the Vosges Massif and its highest peak : Le Grand Ballon, but don't be fooled, this is not the plain of Alsace! A bit of climbing for this circuit, which offers a diversity of landscapes: fields, small villages, corners reserved for and appreciated by the locals, ponds and a large dam... What a program!
