Exposition "pluriel" photographie, sculpture et peinture

Date:

This unique exhibition, entitled "Pluriel", presents the fascinating works of three talented artists: a painter, a sculptor and a photographer. In their work, these three artists focus on the same goal: the soul of the subjects they deal with, what lies behind image and representation, a "quintessence essentia" (quintessence) of appearance? All three are shapers of light and shadow, discoverers of the invisible which, thanks to their art, becomes visible? These are works of atmosphere, symbol and structure.

THE ARTISTS : Jean-Michel RIBEYROLLES Sculptor: Through the almost magical structure of the essential, sculptor JM Ribeyrolles is fully in line with the ancestral representation of Man and the Gods when they were one, i.e. the representation of the living in its symbolic and divine dimension. Guillaume FRECHON ? Painter: Using symbols and compositions, subjective relationships and and colors, the painter G. Fréchon appeals to interpretation, i.e. the viewer?s ability to tap into his or her own deepest imagination to discover his or her own mysteries, his or her own propensities? Christophe CASTES ? Photographer: With his snapshots, time stops in a click, the representation of reality is brutal and implacable, but photographer C. Castes sculpts and sculpts it. Castes sculpts, transforms and interprets them like a photo-sculptor, a photo-painter. He lays bare his own vision of the world and unashamedly delivers it to those who seize it?
