The castle of Roquedols was built during the 16th and 17th centuries and is located in the commune of Meyrueis in the Jonte gorges. It is composed of two rectangular buildings connected to each other at right angles and decorated with three round towers. In the 17th century, it was the centre of the barony of Pourcarès. Various owners will succeed one another until 1938. He raises his imposing silhouette in the valley of Bétuzon. Quite well preserved as a whole, it is listed in the inventory of historical monuments. You can park your car on the space provided for this purpose at the entrance to the estate. The walk around the buildings and the return to the car park via the "forest path" allows you to discover a remarkable environment.
