Starting from Rouffiac, this tour takes you halfway up the northeastern flank of the Causse de Sauveterre, where you can admire part of the Valdonnez valley, the "Truc" (small promontory) of Balduc and the blue marls that line the bottom of the Truc.The trail then follows the course of the Bramont (a tributary of the Lot) back to your starting point.This walk takes you through the former mandement (or châtellerie) of Montialoux.In the Middle Ages, the mandement was the smallest administrative subdivision.Montialoux was part of the barony of Tournel.The ruined château evokes the dark days of the Wars of Religion.
