Leaving from the hamlet of Hures, you'll be criss-crossing the deforested part of the Causse Méjean ("causse nu"), in the heart of the Cévennes National Park. These landscapes are made up of moorland and grassland as far as the eye can see. After the village of Nivoliers, you will cross the Przewalski?s horse enclosure, created by the Takh association in 1990. Off-piste mountain biking is prohibited. Helmets are highly recommended. Don't forget your repair kit and small tools. Close fences and gates tightly. Slow down in farms and hamlets.
