This trail is at the heart of the great movements of ancient and medieval history. Step by step, hikers discover the history of the movement of people, goods and ideas. The Régordane trail bears the traces of the struggle for freedom of conscience and the successive challenges to the Roman Church: Arianism, Catharism, Protestantism. The landscape is extremely rich, with coniferous forests and lava flows to the north, gradually giving way to chestnut, broom and holm oak, and finally to garrigue as you approach the Petite Camargue. Please note that, for various reasons, there may be a difference between the markings in the field and those on the guidebook. Please follow the markings in the field. Adapt your equipment not only to the multi-day hike, but also to the day's weather conditions. Don't forget that mountain weather changes quickly. Remember to bring plenty of water, good shoes and a hat. Close fences and gates carefully. Marking: White and red GR
