The church of Combret, dating from 1843 and dedicated to Saint Privat, is first of all remarkable for its roof "à la Philibert", but it is also remarkable for the beautiful furniture which decorates its interior (statues, paintings...) Its choir is monumental, with a painting of the Crucifixion framed by columns and surmounted by a pediment with a representation of God the Father.
The church of Combret, built in 1843, is dedicated to Saint Privat. Its characteristic roof, in the shape of an overturned ship's hull (the so-called "Philibert" roof) is the first remarkable feature of the building Its simple plan is composed of a single nave of two bays completed by two side chapels near the choir. Inside, the decoration of the church is composed of a beautiful set of furniture containing statues and paintings that decorate it nicely, especially the painting on the left which represents a martyr recognizable by her palm The choir benefits from a monumental treatment, with in particular a large painting representing the Crucifixion, framed by two fluted columns engaged against the wall, the whole surmounted by the lithurgic inscription GLORIA IN EXCELSIS DEO, Glory to God in the highest heaven. Inside the triangular pediment is a representation of God the Father. A sky-blue plaster applied to the vault completes the ensemble.
