LE JARDIN D'EVA

Le Jardin d'Eva, created in 2022, is a floral micro-farm located in Valanjou, near Chemillé. On a 5000 m2 meadow with preserved bocage, Eva grows numerous varieties of flowers and other edible plants, which she offers year-round to restaurateurs. During the summer season, Eva also grows cut flowers, which she sells to florists. She pays particular attention to her impact on the environment: unheated greenhouse, open-ground cultivation, irrigation with natural spring water, minimum tillage, no use of synthetic products, enrichment of the soil (amendment) and not the plant (fertilizer), by adding organic matter present on the plot (dead leaves, lawn clippings, RCW, hay, compost, green manure...) and/or coming from farms close to the production site. Concerned about the environment, Eva wishes to promote an ethical and local method of cultivation. At Jardin d'Eva, flowers emerge and blossom on site, from seed to bouquet. Wild and surprising for some, classic for others, the fragrant flowers dance to the rhythm of the seasons. The garden is open to the public upon reservation. Tariffs for the 2-hour "Taste the garden" activity during the summer season: - Adults: 14? - Children (aged 5 to 16): 6? Groups of up to 20 people can be accommodated. You can also order a bouquet of fresh flowers or a box of edible plants by phone or e-mail, to be collected from the garden by appointment. Prices for fresh bouquets are 15?, 20? or 30?
