La Dune Perroquet

Here, the wind shapes and conditions this 600-hectare dune massif, stretching from Bray-Dunes to La Panne in Belgium. Characterized by its large, crescent-shaped dunes, these remarkable areas are made up of a mosaic of environments, where low-lying grasslands, wet pannes and shrub thickets intermingle to provide a rich and diverse fauna and flora. They are home to more than 350 plant species and a highly specific fauna, including 70 species of dune-nesting birds.
