Au Petit Bonheur

The gîte is located in a beautiful Champagne village in the Ardre valley, with its church and wash houses. Popular with hikers, come and visit the Abbaye D'Igny monastery, which is part of the village. You'll be welcomed by the nuns, who'll introduce you to the local products created at the monastery, which you can buy at their sales outlet. We are located 10 kms from Fismes, a pretty town with all amenities, 30 kms from Reims and 40 kms from Epernay, the capital of Champagne, where you can visit the cellars and châteaux of the finest vintages. We're also 30 kms from Center Parc de Chamouille, where you'll find a magnificent golf course, and just around the corner, the Chemin des Dames, the site of the 14/18 war, with its Dragon's Cave and the ruins of Vauclaire Abbey. Just outside Arcis are two golf courses, one at Gueux, 21 km away, and the other at Villers Argon, 9 km away. In addition, freeway access to Paris is available at 11 kms. Country house with spa (optional), comprising on the first floor a kitchen, dining room, large living room and entrance hall, and on the first floor a master bedroom with double bed, a bedroom with 2 beds, a children's bedroom with 1 single bed and a mezzanine with another single bed. A shower room and toilet are located upstairs. The spa (optional) is available all year round in a room next to the house. A large plot of land, a terrace and the fish pond enhance the site. Electricity (over 8kw/h per day) and heating are extra. You can also heat with a pellet stove (8? per 15kg bag). Electricity consumption: invoiced at the end of the stay, with meter readings on arrival and departure if more than 8kwh per day. For professionals: end-of-stay cleaning package: 45?
