Since October 2022, a group of teenagers, accompanied by artist Caroline Pichon, have been on an Odyssey - THEIR Odyssey - to (re)discover the Bassin Minier, its landscapes, history and heritage through the lens of a camera. After surveying the area and venturing beyond, they use the pictures they take as a common thread to share their discoveries with as many people as possible.
As part of the Odyssée exhibition, come and meet artist Caroline Pichon for a picnic lunch in the green spaces at the heart of the Cité du 12-14 in Lens, accompanied by a continuous fabric screen-printing workshop during the afternoon. The aim will be to screen-print napkins, tablecloths or other fabrics (t-shirts, etc.) that visitors may wish to bring along.
